My working background is in engineering manufacture which involves working within very restriced and formal parameters to engineering drawings so I was looking for an idea which would allow me some input of my own ideas for shapes and textures.
Five years ago I started producing mirrors from Scottish hardwoods, strongly influenced by Tim Stead a furniture designer and maufacturer from the Scottish Borders now sadly deceased , and from Eion Cox also from the Borders.
I initially did craft fairs then started supplying gift shops and galleries and now I am now also doing trade shows.
This gradual development allowed me to do a lot of market research and gather a lot of customer feedback to help improve my product and company profile which has now led me to develop this web site.
