Handcrafted from Scottish hard woods

Home

Mirrors created from single pieces of various hardwoods trying wherever possible to incorporate the natural edge of the tree and any other features such as branch holes and growth defects in the finished article ,making each one unique in design.

This method of working allows my own input into the design of each mirror whilst still working with the natural grain and shape of each piece of wood.

All mirrors are finished to a high standard and finally treated with linseed oil which highlights the natural grain and colour of the wood whilst allowing it to breath and remain tactile to touch.

All the timber I use is sourced from Scottish sawmills and include Oak,Elm,Ash,Beech and Yew and any other interesting indigenous woods.

The size and design of each mirror is only restricted to the individual pieces of wood I can obtain.

For more information about the mirrors and an explanation of descriptions please vist the materials page.

Size ranges are only approximate due to the many variants of the wood I obtain.
